BioYes, it's pronouced "Kewthbert". Yes, it's funny. Can we move on now?
ka-mai: Fool of fate. One who is given hope, but no choices. You know what a ka-mai is, even if you've never heard the term, because there's one in every group. The brooding hero always keeps one or two around, so he/she doesn't forget how to smile.
Cuthbert Allgood is a fool. At least, most people think that when they first meet him. Those who he befriends realize soon enough how much more there is to him than that. As for his enemies, they often go on thinking of him as a fool until the moment they find themselves looking down the barrel of his gun.
Physical description: Cuthbert's a young man in his mid-twenties, slim and fairly tall, with brown hair and eyes. He's good-looking, and made even more attractive by the expression of good humor that's usually to be found on his face. Those who know what a cowboy is will be put in mind of one when they first see him, from his boots to his hat to the gunbelts that cross his hips. The guns in those holsters--huge, sandelwood-handgripped revolvers--are beyond a doubt his most valuable possessions, and he's rarely if ever without them.
Bert's arrived at Milliways straight from his death, which actually takes place before the Dark Tower books start, but is described in detail in Wolves of the Calla, the fifth in the series.

milliways_bar. Cuthbert is from the Dark Tower Cycle and belongs to the totally eventual Stephen King, not me. If money were being made off of this, I would be putting myself through college. And pay no attention to the mun behind the curtain.)
